The UCSF Library’s collection of Japanese woodblock prints illustrates a wide variety of health-related topics. The prints provide a window into traditional Japanese attitudes toward illness, the human body, women, religion, and the West.

What is Calisphere?

Calisphere is a free online resource that offers access to over 2,000,000 images, text documents, and recordings from California's libraries, archives, and museums. Calisphere is a service of the California Digital Library. UCSF Archives and Special Collections uses Calisphere to provide access to its born-digital and digitized collections.
